TEAM VICTOR WEEKLY TEAM UPDATE March 22, 2026

A PERSONAL MESSAGE FROM VICTOR

Every victory we see in this campaign is exciting—but more than that, it’s confirmation we’re exactly where we’re supposed to be.

Are we facing resistance? Absolutely. But that comes with the territory. The closer you get to the target, the more opposition shows up. And while I don’t take lightly calling anyone an enemy, the attacks we’re seeing—and those backing them—have made it clear: this is a fight.

Here’s the truth… nothing they throw at us is going to stop what God is doing.

Turning in over 28,000 signatures by volunteers isn’t just a milestone -- It’s history. And its proof that when we say we’re going to do something, we get it done.

Onward to victory. Next stop: the State Assembly.

— Victor

WHAT EVERYONE IS TALKING ABOUT

Wow!  Thanks to your unwavering support, the Victor Marx for Governor campaign has officially raised $1 million in just the last 78 days.

This historic surge in grassroots momentum brings our total war chest to over $1.6 million, solidly outpacing the rest of the Republican field. Best of all, this movement isn't funded by special interests or backroom deals — our average donation is under $120, proving that this campaign is powered directly by hard-working Colorado families.

That same grassroots energy just helped us achieve another massive milestone this week — we submitted 28,541 Republican petition signatures to the Colorado Secretary of State.

Unlike other campaigns that rely on paid canvassers, our historic signature gathering effort was accomplished entirely by hundreds of dedicated, unpaid volunteers across the state.

We can’t say thank you enough to everyone who chipped in their time, energy, and hard-earned money to help us smash these goals. You are the absolute heart and soul of this campaign, and it is your dedication that will bring safer communities and better schools back to our state.

Let's keep this incredible momentum going all the way to the governor's office!

EXCITING THINGS ARE HAPPENING

Victor has been hitting the road lately, talking directly with folks across Colorado about the issues that actually matter to them. Whether he's chatting with sportsmen about wildlife conservation or sitting down with farmers on the Eastern Plains, Victor is committed to listening to your concerns and building real solutions together.

We’d love for you to be part of the momentum! Every Coloradan is invited to come out to one of Victor’s rallies or community events.  Look forward to seeing you!

We are adding new events all the time. Check them out HERE.

OUR KIDS’ MENTAL HEALTH

Colorado is one of the healthiest states in America, but when it comes to our kids' mental health, we're not just failing — we're flunking. Suicide is one of the leading causes of death for young people. Dozens of Colorado counties have few to no child psychiatrist.

I know what childhood trauma does to a young person because I lived it, and I'm here to tell you this isn't a bumper sticker issue for me — it's personal.

As governor, my priorities are straightforward: drive down youth suicide, close the psychiatry gap in rural Colorado, crack down on youth substance abuse, and hold tech companies accountable to address the growing mental health risks associated with social media use.

In my first 12 months, I'll sign an Executive Order treating children's mental health like the emergency it actually is — with 90-day benchmarks, not annual reports that gather dust on the shelves of bureaucrats.

I will urgently expand telehealth counseling for underserved school districts, prioritize early identification and support in our schools, and work with faith communities and nonprofits who are already doing this work better than government — and doing it cheaper.

Legislatively, we need loan forgiveness to encourage child psychiatrists to rural counties. While Colorado has made some recent progress on these issues, we must strengthen enforcement of our existing mental health insurance parity laws and go much further by passing a comprehensive Social Media Safety Act. We also need full funding for the 988 crisis line to ensure every child in crisis gets a fast, human response.

Colorado has the resources. We've just been too slow and too timid to use them. That ends on Day One.

BE PART OF THE VICTORY

It’s because of YOU — our incredible volunteers and small-dollar donors — that we just turned in 28,541 petition signatures to the Colorado Secretary of State to secure Victor Marx’s place on the primary ballot!

This campaign isn’t powered by big special interests. It’s powered by hardworking Coloradans who believe in common-sense leadership and a governor who puts people first.

The average supporter gives $95 — but even $10 keeps this grassroots movement growing strong. Chip in HERE to help us carry this movement across Colorado!

BECAUSE OF YOU

“Let the favor of the Lord our God be upon us, and establish the work of our hands…” — Psalm 90:17

460 volunteers…

Countless hours…

Over 1,000 miles…

28,541 signatures.

This didn’t happen by accident.

This was a big undertaking, and I’d be lying if I said there weren’t moments of quiet uncertainty.

But each time, those moments were overshadowed by the faithful prayers and unrelenting efforts of our volunteers.

Because truly—the prayers of the righteous availeth much.

I want to recognize Malia, who headed up this effort —she had the conviction and drive to make sure this petition process was a huge success. She brought people together and kept things moving. That kind of leadership matters.

And then there’s all of you.

People who flew in to make this happen.

People driving hours just to help for a short time.

People praying behind the scenes.

People stepping in and getting it done.

No spotlight. Just steady.

And because of that—

28,541 signatures.

That number represents sacrifice.

It represents faithfulness.

It represents people who chose to show up.

And I really believe God is in this — establishing it as we go.

So, thank you.

We see it.

We’re grateful.

And it matters more than you know.

Let’s keep going — together.

And this is only the beginning.

— Eileen

DEFENDING OUR SECOND AMENDMENT

First off, let me just say how grateful I am to Josiah, Adam, and everybody at Salida Gunshop for letting me wander around your shop, meet your customers, and sit down for a real conversation on your podcast. (Listen HERE)

Walking into your place feels like walking into a piece of Colorado that still makes sense — where folks know the difference between a criminal and a law‑abiding gun owner, and they aren’t afraid to say so out loud. That’s rarer than it ought to be these days.

Colorado Democrats have turned gun policy into a full‑time hobby, and the target isn’t criminals — it’s YOU, the people who follow the law, pass the background checks, and teach your kids safe gun handling in the backyard.

Only in Colorado these days can you have politicians who don’t know which end of a rifle kicks trying to micromanage how rural families hunt, trap, and protect their livestock.

Thank you, Salida Gunshop, for the great conversation and friendly welcome.

VOLUNTEER OF THE WEEK

Every campaign runs on the energy of its volunteers, and KELSY SORICELLI from Greeley is exactly the kind of person who makes ours special.

Kelsy has been one of the driving forces behind our petition efforts in District 8 — organizing collection events, coordinating volunteers, and showing up with a smile every single time.

You can always spot her by those iconic American Flag earrings, and honestly, that enthusiasm she wears on her ears is just a preview of the energy she brings to everything she does for this campaign.

What truly moved me was hearing Kelsy speak at the Brave Church event about why she volunteers and the sense of family she's found through this campaign. That's what we're building — not just a political movement, but a community of people who care deeply about Colorado's future.

Thank you Kelsy for being the heart of what we're doing in Greeley and beyond.
