TEAM VICTOR WEEKLY UPDATE March 15, 2026

A PERSONAL MESSAGE FROM VICTOR…

This week I was reminded again why integrity is so rare in politics.

Almost every week now, someone approaches me claiming they can “help me win.” The conversations usually sound similar promises of money, influence, or connections but they come with expectations. Sometimes it’s influence. Sometimes it’s access. Sometimes it’s positions of authority in a future administration.

That’s how the system often works. Deals are made long before the voters ever cast a ballot. Promises are traded for power, and once someone takes those deals, they become beholden to the individuals or special interests who funded or brokered their path.

I’ve been very clear with every one of them.

I don’t need your help to win.

The people of Colorado will decide this race, not political brokers, not special interest groups, and not individuals looking to secure power inside a future administration.

If the voters choose me, it will be because they believe in the mission: restoring integrity to government, protecting children, defending families, supporting our farmers and ranchers, and standing up for the values that made this state strong.

Running this way makes me an outsider in politics. And to be honest, that’s exactly where I intend to stay.

I’m not running to build a political machine. I’m running to serve the people of Colorado and to honor God in the process.

Thank you for standing with me.

— Victor

YOU HEARD IT HERE FIRST

I’m honored and thrilled to share some exciting news with y’all — I’ve been invited to speak at the International Faith Summit during CPAC USA 2026 on Wednesday, March 25th, at the Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention Center in Grapevine, Texas.

This incredible invitation to one of the largest conservative gatherings in the country is more than a privilege — it’s a powerful affirmation of the growing energy behind our movement here in Colorado and the vision we share to lead our state forward with integrity, faith, and common sense.

At the Summit, I’ll be delivering a message that’s deeply personal to me — one that ties our fight for safer communities, fiscal responsibility, strong infrastructure, and renewed trust in public service to a higher calling of faith and responsibility.

Stay tuned!  We’ll be sharing more exciting information soon.

DEBATE ANNOUNCEMENT

I’m excited to share that I’ve accepted an invitation to our second gubernatorial debate!

It’s happening Tuesday evening, May 26th, on the campus of Colorado Christian University, hosted by the Centennial Institute — and this one’s shaping up to be a good one. It’s gonna be a real debate about real issues that hit home for hardworking Colorado families.

I’ll be talking about easing the cost of living, keeping our neighborhoods safe, strengthening our schools, and protecting the freedoms that make Colorado special.

I’m looking forward to stepping on that stage, sharing our common‑sense vision for a stronger, safer, more prosperous Colorado. We’ll have details soon on how you can attend or tune in.

BE PART OF THE VICTORY

Victor’s common-sense leadership is inspiring thousands across Colorado — and your support keeps the momentum going!

Every dollar helps us reach more voters who are ready for safer communities, better roads, and stronger rights. Let’s do this together!

Victor is leading the pack, and the pressure is on. The average supporter gives $130 — but even $10 helps us connect with voters who want real solutions, not bureaucracy. Your contribution makes the difference!

Victor’s message is simple, practical, and resonating statewide. But to keep reaching voters from Fort Collins to Pueblo, we need your help right now. Every donation fuels our mission to deliver real results for everyday Coloradans.

Chip in HERE and stand with Victor Marx for Governor!

PROSTITUTION EFFORT ISN’T DEAD

To every Coloradan who wrote, called, and spoke out against decriminalizing prostitution in our great state — THANK YOU.

Because of the willingness to act by thousands of Coloradans, Senate Bill 97 has been abandoned for this session.

But let’s be clear, just because this bill has been pulled for now doesn’t mean it is gone for good. Like a vampire, it isn’t dead. We must expect it to resurface in the next legislative session, cloaked in new language but driven by the same misguided ideology.

That’s why we cannot look away. The future of Colorado’s communities depends on voters who stand firm in their values and elect leaders who share our moral clarity and common sense. Our work doesn’t end with defeating one bill — it continues at the ballot box, in our churches, and in our conversations with neighbors. Together, we’ll protect the heart of our state and the dignity of every Coloradan.

Special appreciation goes to Jim Burgen and the dedicated leaders at Flatirons Church, whose efforts helped mobilize more than 150,000 Coloradans to defend the integrity and safety of our neighborhoods.

HOPE ON THE CAMPAIGN TRAIL

One of the things that has surprised and encouraged me the most on this campaign trail is how powerful hope really is.

Everywhere we go across Colorado, I see it.

Our volunteers showing up all across this state is incredibly inspiring. People are driving long distances, giving up their evenings and weekends, and stepping forward simply because they believe something good is possible.

That kind of hope spreads.

When people begin to believe their voice matters again… when they feel heard… when they realize they are not alone in wanting something better for Colorado — something begins to shift.

Hope becomes contagious.

You can see it in the conversations after events, when people stay just a little longer to talk. You hear it when strangers begin sharing their stories and realize they care about many of the same things — their families, their communities, and the future of this state.

Victor has always believed that people are not the problem — they are the solution. When people are given a voice and invited to be part of something bigger than themselves, hope begins to grow.

And when hope grows, courage follows.

Seeing volunteers show up all across Colorado has been deeply encouraging to me.

It reminds me that hope is alive in this state.

And when hope is alive, people step forward. They get involved. They lift their eyes to what is possible.

That is exactly what we are seeing happen across Colorado right now.

And it is inspiring.

— Eileen

GOD BLESS THOSE THAT SERVE

A week ago, we lost a good man. Sgt. Benjamin Pennington was just 26 years old. He came from Glendale, Kentucky and he died serving his country when Iranian forces attacked Prince Sultan Air Base over in Saudi Arabia.

Sgt. Pennington was Kentucky born and raised. But he also served with distinction here in Colorado with the 1st Space Battalion, 1st Space Brigade at Fort Carson, working with the U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command. He made the ultimate sacrifice — the seventh combat fatality in this Iran war.

That's a heavy loss for his family back in the Bluegrass State, and for his brothers and sisters at Fort Carson who stood shoulder-to-shoulder with him.

I want to thank every man and woman in uniform, especially those serving in Operation Epic Fury right now. They get up every day, put on the uniform, and stand between the rest of us and danger. That takes courage. That takes commitment. And some, like Sgt. Pennington, pay the ultimate price. We owe them everything. God bless them, and God bless Ben Pennington.

WHAT’S YOUR REAL NAME

“Is Vaughn Kennedy your real name?” That was the first tough question Nick Rodgers asked me during an upcoming episode of the Big Timber Lodge podcast

I’ve heard that question before, but I want to take a moment to answer it again and set the record straight.

For years, I lived with a last name that carried both darkness and evil — the name of my adopted stepfather, the man’s last name was Kennedy — a pedophile. He did awful and unspeakable things. I forgive. I don’t forget.

But as terrible as the things he did to me were, I couldn’t let that legacy be attached to the woman I’d marry or the children I’d one day hold.

When Christ got ahold of my heart, everything changed. I reunited with my real father, and through forgiveness and redemption, I took back the name I was born with — VICTOR MARX.

My birth name represents freedom, restoration, and the life God gave me — not the pain one twisted evil man inflicted. My children will never bear the weight of someone else’s sin. They bear a name redeemed by grace.

Thank you to Nicholas Rodgers and the BIG TIMBER LODGE PODCAST for welcoming me on their platform to dig deeper into the challenges and promise facing Colorado today.

You can watch and share the Big Timber Lodge conversation on their channel HERE.

VOLUNTEER OF THE WEEK

Carolyn Glueckert is one of those rare folks you don’t have to call to ask for help — she’s already there, sleeves rolled up and ready to go. From day one, she’s been a steady hand and a strong heart on our team, collecting signatures, recruiting volunteers, and keeping things running behind the scenes with grace and grit.

Just this past week alone, Carolyn helped organize petition sites, led efforts at Flatirons Church, stepped up as a new delegate at the Broomfield caucus, and still found time to manage the Coloradans for Victor Marx Facebook page.
