TEAM VICTOR WEEKLY TEAM UPDATE April 27, 2026
- Victor Marx for Governor

This week I had a great time at Sportsman's Day at the State Capitol, wild game cookout, great people, and a real conversation about what matters to hunters, anglers, and families across this state.
I was there because this fight is personal.
Colorado’s sportsmen aren’t weekend hobbyists; you’re the ones actually keeping wildlife healthy and on the landscape. The licenses and tags you buy keep Colorado Parks and Wildlife running. Take you out of the picture, and the conservation system collapses.

I met up with John Howard, former Chairman of the CPW Commission and we agreed, Colorado needs wildlife decisions driven by real science and a commission that answers to everyday Coloradans, not to urban special-interest groups.
Right now, not a single big game hunter sits on that commission. That changes when I'm governor.
The governor's office is a CEO position. Here's what a Victor Marx administration delivers for sportsmen:
· Reform the CPW Commission: appoint qualified people with science-based wildlife management backgrounds who will stand up and fight for hunters and ranchers
· Place an immediate moratorium on wolf imports: until a full, transparent impact assessment puts ranchers and hunters at the table not just activists
· Restore stream and land access: for every working Coloradan, not just wealthy private leaseholders

Colorado's wildlife belongs to all of us. Together, we're going to get our state back.

SPECIAL SPRUCE MOUNTAIN RANCH FUNDRAISER
Join hosts Tara Ames and David Schott for a distinguished evening in Spruce Mountain Ranch on Thursday, April 30th, 2026, in support of the Victor Marx for Governor campaign. This event will bring together friends and supporters from across Colorado for an elegant night of conversation, connection, and shared vision for our state’s future.

While the vast majority of our events are FREE, this special evening serves as a fundraiser to help move the campaign forward at a pivotal moment. Space is limited—please RSVP to Reagan Tonner at Reagan@beaconconsultingdc.com or 720‑277‑8486.

COLORADO, VICTOR NEEDS YOU…
Right now, Victor Marx is crisscrossing Colorado, from the Eastern Plains to the Western Slope, from kitchen tables to diners, listening to hardworking families just like yours.
What's he hearing? That you want safer neighborhoods, communities you can afford, real infrastructure investment, and parents, not government, choosing how their children learn.
That's Victor's common-sense vision. And it's catching fire across Colorado.

But the end of our reporting period hits April 30th and those numbers are public. They tell the world who the real frontrunner is. Right now, we have a chance to show that Victor Marx leads by every metric. We just need you to act before the deadline.
Our campaign runs on everyday Coloradans giving $100 or less. No PAC money. No insiders. Just neighbors building the Colorado we deserve.
Your $25, $50, or $100 gift puts yard signs in front yards, fliers in neighbors' hands, and t-shirts on people's backs, turning every supporter into a walking billboard for change.
Won't you help us make a strong showing before April 30th? Together, we are unstoppable. Together, we take Colorado back.

FROM EILEEN: “Had an hour in drive time”
How do we keep our hearts from getting hard with all the personal attacks coming against us?
It’s not easy, but when we remember who the real enemy is, and ultimately who they answer to, it becomes easier to endure without losing who we are.
As we travel all across this beautiful state of Colorado meeting people, so many Coloradans recognize what’s really at stake. They tell us they are praying for us. Again and again, we hear, “We know this is from God… we’re praying for you.”

This race is about more than politics. It’s about the future of our state. For decades, we’ve seen one-party control, and many believe the direction has been damaging, impacting families, freedoms, and the safety of our communities.
But this is a movement for change, a course correction. And we believe God is still at work.
Victor has been called to lead in this moment. And while the attacks may continue, we stand firm in this truth:
“What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?” Romans 8:31:
God wins. And because of that, we move forward with strength, conviction, and faith.
Eileen

COLORADO IS PRICING OUT THE PEOPLE WHO BUILT IT
Colorado is becoming unaffordable for the very people who make this state great. Families can't keep up with rising housing costs. Energy bills are crushing small businesses. Seniors and farmers are being taxed off land they've owned for decades. This didn't happen by accident, it happened because of bad policy, reckless spending, and a government that treats you like an ATM instead of the people it's supposed to serve.

I'm done watching that happen. When I'm governor, I'm coming after this affordability crisis directly and aggressively.
· Housing: I'll cut the red tape and zoning restrictions that make it slow and expensive to build in Colorado. When it's easier to build, it gets cheaper to buy and more Colorado families can actually afford a home.
· Energy: I'll end the ideologically driven mandates that have driven up your electricity and heating bills. Colorado deserves a common-sense, “all-of-the-above” energy strategy. One that keeps the lights on, the grid reliable, and your monthly bills manageable.
· Taxes and Spending: I'll fight for real property tax relief… for homeowners, seniors, farmers, and small business owners who are being taxed off land they've worked their whole lives to keep. I will oppose any new taxes or fee hikes that haven't been approved by voters. And I will demand a full audit of state spending to cut the waste and put your tax dollars to work for Coloradans… not for government bureaucracies.
· Pushing Back on Washington: I'll also stand up against the federal regulations making it harder and more expensive to do business here, protecting our ranchers, manufacturers, and small business owners from Washington overreach.

Prosperity isn't built in a statehouse. It's built by you, the people of Colorado. My job as governor is to make that possible, not harder. That's a promise.

VOLUNTEER OF THE WEEK
Meet this week's volunteer spotlight, Salty Galvis!
A retired attorney with 44 years of practice under his belt, Salty had never jumped into politics before… until Victor Marx came along. A trusted friend and Bible-study partner introduced him to Victor, and once Salty looked into the platform, he was all in. It hit even closer to home when his own daughter and son-in-law made the heartbreaking decision to leave Colorado because of the mess the current administration has made of this state. Enough was enough.

Salty wasted no time getting to work. He got elected as a Republican delegate from his precinct to the State Assembly, maxed out his personal campaign donation, completed phone-banking training, and he and his wife Theresa are hosting a Victor Marx fundraiser in their home on May 10th, Salty, your dedication is an inspiration. Thank you for fighting for Colorado!
