TEAM VICTOR WEEKLY TEAM UPDATE - APRIL 20, 2026

A PERSONAL MESSAGE FROM VICTOR

Since earning our place on the ballot, this campaign has shifted into a new gear entirely. In just the last few days, I held five events in a single day, completed four media interviews, attended a fundraiser, and am now traveling across Eastern Colorado sitting down with ranchers, farmers, and families who love this state and are ready for real leadership.

The fire out here is something you have to see to believe.

With that momentum comes opposition, and I welcome it. A coordinated smear effort has picked up steam, even reaching Candace Owens. Honestly, that is confirmation we are doing something right. When attacks are laundered through voices the public has already stopped trusting, those attacks do not land on us. They land on the people throwing them. That is not a setback. That is a spotlight.

No other campaign in this race is absorbing fire like ours, and that tells you everything you need to know. We are effective, we are growing, and every attempt to slow us down only strengthens our purpose.

At its core, this election is a clear choice. Colorado voters can choose an outsider who leads with common sense, demands accountability, and has never been part of the machine, or they can return career politicians who have had every opportunity to fix this state and have consistently chosen not to. Colorado deserves better, and Coloradans know it.

We are not here to make a respectable showing. We are here to win. The primary is the next milestone, and winning it is how we take back Colorado all the way to November.

-- Victor

WHAT EVERYONE IS TAKING ABOUT

Victor Marx's campaign has now RAISED OVER $2 MILLION in small-dollar contributions from donors in all 64 Colorado counties. Every single one.

From ranchers on the Western Slope to families on the Front Range, Coloradans across this entire state are investing in Victor Marx and this movement. With an average gift of just $107 and a median donation of $52, this isn't political machine money, it's real Coloradans choosing hope over frustration and results over rhetoric.

Over 7,800 in-state donors make up more than 75% of all contributions, $27,562 in reoccurring donations every month, and $103,000 in merchandise sales proves his supporters aren't just writing checks… they're wearing their conviction.

Neither of Victor's Republican opponents has built this kind of grassroots foundation. A candidate who can't generate real support in a primary won't survive a general election.

Colorado needs a governor who can win and Victor Marx has already proven he can.

Humbled and energized by every contribution, he remains committed to safe neighborhoods, accountable government, and a Colorado where hardworking families can afford to thrive.

This movement is just getting started. Read the press release HERE.

SPECIAL SPRUCE MOUNTAIN RANCH FUNDRAISER

Join hosts Tara Ames and David Schott for a distinguished evening in Spruce Mountain Ranch on Thursday, April 30th, 2026, in support of the Victor Marx for Governor campaign. This event will bring together friends and supporters from across Colorado for an elegant night of conversation, connection, and shared vision for our state’s future.

While the vast majority of our events are FREE, this special evening serves as a fundraiser to help move the campaign forward at a pivotal moment. Space is limited—please RSVP to Reagan Tonner at Reagan@beaconconsultingdc.com or 720‑277‑8486.

COLORADO, VICTOR NEEDS YOU… AND SO DOES YOUR FAMILY!

Right now, Victor Marx is crisscrossing Colorado, from the Eastern Plains to the Western Slope, from kitchen tables to diners, listening to hardworking families just like yours.

What's he hearing? That you want safer neighborhoods, communities you can afford, real infrastructure investment, and parents, not government, choosing how their children learn.

That's Victor's common-sense vision. And it's catching fire across Colorado.

But the end of our reporting period hits April 30th and those numbers are public. They tell the world who the real frontrunner is. Right now, we have a chance to show that Victor Marx leads by every metric. We just need you to act before the deadline.

Our campaign runs on everyday Coloradans giving $100 or less. No PAC money. No insiders. Just neighbors building the Colorado we deserve.

Your $25, $50, or $100 gift puts yard signs in front yards, fliers in neighbors' hands, and t-shirts on people's backs, turning every supporter into a walking billboard for change.

Won't you help us make a strong showing before April 30th? Together, we are unstoppable. Together, we take Colorado back.

FROM EILEEN: THE HIDDEN COST OF REACTING WITHOUT THINKING

In today’s fast-moving world, especially on social media, it’s become normal to react before we take time to think. Opinions form quickly, often from just one perspective, and get shared just as fast. Before long, it turns into a kind of chain reaction. One voice sparks another, and soon the noise is louder than the truth.

But real thinking requires something we don’t practice enough anymore. It requires pause.

There’s a powerful reminder in Scripture: “The first to present his case seems right, until another comes forward and questions him.” (Proverbs 18:17)

It’s a simple truth. The first thing we hear can sound convincing, but that doesn’t mean it’s complete. When we only hear one side, we risk forming opinions that are shallow or even wrong.

Critical thinking isn’t about being negative or doubting everything. It’s about being willing to slow down and ask honest questions. Is this actually true? What might be missing here? Why am I reacting the way I am?

Getting back to this kind of thinking starts with each of us. It means resisting the urge to immediately agree, repost, or react. It means allowing space to listen, to question, and to understand before forming a conclusion.

We live in a culture that rewards quick responses, but there is real value in slowing down. When we choose to think before we react, we bring clarity not just to ourselves, but to the conversations around us. Otherwise, we’re just adding to the noise.

OUR WEEKEND WHISTLESTOP TOUR

A fourth-generation rancher in Sterling grabbed my hand and said, "Victor, I don't know if we're gonna make it." That stays with you.

This weekend I traveled across Colorado's eastern plains through Hugo, Akron, Holyoke, and Sterling. We met hundreds of hardworking Coloradans who are hurting. Farmers watching their water disappear. Families crushed by rising costs. Small business owners buried under regulations handed down by politicians in Denver who have never set foot on their land or looked them in the eye.

I did… and I won’t forget a single face.

When I'm sworn in as your governor, the eastern plains won't be an afterthought anymore. Your water will be protected. Your livelihoods will be defended. And Denver will finally start working for Colorado and not against it.

These are the people I'm fighting for. This is why I'm running.

WHERE DID ALL THE GUMMY MONEY GO?

Colorado voters were lied to.

In 2012, you were promised something real. Legalize marijuana, and the tax revenue would go to your schools and your communities. It sounded like a good deal.

$2.87 billion later, you didn't get what you were promised.

Instead of delivering on that promise, Denver politicians turned the marijuana tax fund into a personal slush fund — spread across multiple programs and state agencies.

And it gets worse: tax revenue has collapsed 45% in just four years, from $424 million in 2021 down to $231 million in 2025. The legal market is being destroyed, and nobody in Denver is lifting a finger to fix it.

Here's what they cut instead:

·      The Building Excellent Schools TODAY (BEST) program — slashed $20 million per year, two years running. Your kids are sitting in crumbling buildings while bureaucrats spend the money elsewhere.

·      $16 million in youth anti-drug programs — gone.

·      Local governments were promised 10% of retail marijuana taxes. That's now 3.5% — and a bill just passed the Colorado House to eliminate it entirely.

Here's what I'll do as Governor:

·      Zero-base the entire fund. Every program justifies itself or loses funding.

·      Restore the promise to schools and local governments.

·      Crack down on unregulated products destroying the legal market.

·      A fully independent public audit, every year. No more insider accounting fog.

The gummy bear money was supposed to work for Colorado. As your Governor… it finally will.

VOLUNTEER OF THE WEEK

This week, we're proud to shine a spotlight on Chancey Taylor and if you were at assembly, you already know why.

Chancey was an absolute superstar, showing up in the wee hours of the morning and staying until the night was done. That kind of dedication is the backbone of this campaign, and we are so grateful for everything Chancey brought to the table.

When asked about volunteering with the Victor Marx campaign, Chancey put it best, "What I truly enjoyed most is the sense of coming together for the greater good of this state. The people I meet and serve alongside are incredible. I'm grateful for the opportunity to stand together and be on the right side of history."

That spirit, selfless, hopeful, and fired up for Colorado is exactly what this movement is all about. Thank you, Chancey. You're making a difference.
