THOUGHTS FROM EILEEN MARX…
This past week, I had the joy of spending time with Frances Owens and her daughter, and it truly made my whole month.
Frances is gracious, kind, and such a delight to be with. Hearing her reflections from her time as First Lady, along with the perspective of her daughter, was both meaningful and encouraging. We talked about the years when Governor Bill Owens served as a two-term governor and how much has changed since then. Times are different now. Social media has changed access, expectations, and the pace of public life.
Yet even with all those changes, both Frances and her daughter spoke so clearly about the need for Colorado to change course—not just politically, but spiritually. A return to our roots and the values that once grounded this state.
They were genuinely excited that Victor is running for governor, and that encouragement meant more to me than I can say. Frances understands this journey. She knows the cost and the work involved, and her willingness to walk alongside me and join me at events in this season felt like such a gift.
I left our time together deeply encouraged and incredibly grateful.

Victor Marx is thrilled to kick off his Colorado “Rescue Tour” starting February 13th in Golden, Colorado! He’ll be visiting cities like Greeley, Denver, and Pueblo, with more stops to be announced soon.
This tour will span multiple cities, including Greeley, Westminster, Denver, Pueblo, and Thornton, with additional dates to be announced soon.
“I’m really excited to get out and meet all the people who have been writing our campaign, asking us to come to their communities,” said Victor Marx. “You know, there are so many Coloradans who are hurting — feeling pushed out, shut out, or simply knocked out by a system that seems to no longer care about them or their families. I’m telling you, the time for change is long overdue.”

LET’S TALK ABOUT INSANE PROPERTY TAXES
Colorado homeowners are facing a potential 40% increase in property taxes, leaving many to wonder how it became so expensive.
So, what happened?
Back in 2022, lawmakers passed Senate Bill 22-238, which reduced property tax assessment rates by $15,000 for 2023 and 2024. The state covered most of the reduced payments for counties and special districts, including essential services and K-12 education.
In 2024, lawmakers aimed to tackle the “property tax wars” with Senate Bill 24-233, increasing the valuation discount to $55,000. However, Democrats, along with Sen. Barb Kirkmeyer, introduced “short-term fix” bills that expired on January 1st for 2025 assessments, which have now caused a sharp rise in property tax bills.
This jump is forcing many Coloradans to reconsider if Colorado is just too expensive to live here any longer.
The reality is, government isn't the solution; it often becomes a burden. The supposed relief vanished, leading to higher bills and eroded trust in government.
Colorado has stopped listening to its residents. We need to limit government size and focus on what truly matters: community safety and allowing hardworking Coloradans to live without unnecessary oversight. If we don’t act now, more families may leave for greener pastures.
Colorado should be a place where families thrive – not fight to survive!
PREDATORS… JEFFREY EPSTEIN
The abhorrent crimes of Jeffrey Epstein are a shocking reminder of the darkness that exists in our world. But we must confront an even more alarming truth: most abuse against the most vulnerable children happens not on distant islands, but in our own neighborhoods, often at the hands of those who should be their protectors, their fathers, uncles, brothers.
There are millions of wounded children in our communities, suffering in silence, denied the justice they desperately need and the voice they deserve.
Just last month, our team rescued 43 children from the grips of evil predators, each one a reminder of the unimaginable trauma millions more endure. We may never see their faces, but the scars they carry will last a lifetime.
Child trafficking is a heinous crime that must be eradicated, but we must never forget that vulnerable child who also suffers quietly, waiting for salvation and justice in the home next door.
It’s time we stand together to protect these innocent lives and ensure that their cries for help are finally heard.
This is our task. This is our mission.
